All Friday Night cruises depart from Kewalo Basin Harbor, 1025 Ala Moana Blvd, Slip F1, just minutes from Waikīkī. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before departure for check-in and boarding.

The fireworks take place Friday evening after sunset. Timing can occasionally vary, but our cruise is scheduled so we can get out on the water and into position with plenty of time to enjoy the Waikīkī skyline before the show begins.

Yes! Our Friday Night cruise is BYOB, so you’re welcome to bring your favorite beverages onboard. Please drink responsibly and follow all crew instructions while aboard.

Seating is designed to keep the experience relaxed and social. Our crew will help guests get comfortable and make sure everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the views throughout the cruise.

No. This is a completely dry experience. After the fireworks, you’ll be able to enjoy the illuminated reef and marine life through Illuminate’s glass-bottom viewing area without getting in the water.

The fireworks display is operated independently of Illuminate Waikīkī and may occasionally be canceled due to weather or other circumstances outside our control. If that happens, the cruise can still include an evening ride along the Waikīkī coastline and our after-dark glass-bottom reef viewing experience, conditions permitting.
