Yes. Snorkel gear is provided, including a mask, snorkel, and fins. Our crew will help you get fitted and go over important safety information before you enter the water.

Bring a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing for before and after your snorkel. A waterproof camera is also a great option if you want to capture the experience.

Waikīkī’s reefs are home to Hawaiian green sea turtles, tropical reef fish, rays, dolphins, monk seals, and other marine life. Wildlife sightings are always natural and can never be guaranteed.

Absolutely. Getting in the water is optional. Guests who prefer to stay dry can relax aboard Illuminate and enjoy the ocean and reef through our glass-bottom viewing area.

Safety always comes first. Ocean and weather conditions can change quickly, and the captain may adjust the route, snorkeling location, or in-water portion of the experience when necessary. If conditions are not suitable for a safe trip, the cruise may be delayed or canceled.
